At Dracut Public Schools, we are passionate about making healthy meals to prepare your Student to learn in the classroom.
Our Nutrition Services Program provides students with wholesome, nutritious, and delicious meals that meet the USDA Dietary Guidelines for all. Each cafeteria offers breakfast and lunch. Menus are posted online.
Students can receive 1 FREE complete breakfast and 1 FREE complete lunch each school day.
At lunch, students are offered five components:
- Grains 
- Meat or a meat alternate (protein) 
- Fruits 
- Vegetables 
- Milk 
As required by the USDA, students must take at least three components as part of their lunch, and one of those must be a fruit of vegetable. Students are encouraged to take all five components for a balanced meal. For breakfast, students must select three food items.
2025-2026 School Year
Dracut Public Schools is pleased to announce our districtwide participation in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP). Please consider filling out your Household Economic Survey. Paper applications are still available if needed. Students who qualify may be eligible for a free bus pass and reduced activity fees. You only need to fill out one application for all students living in your household., regardless of which school they attend. If you revived a letter stating your student is eligible for Dracut Certifications, you do not need to fill out the application.
It is our privilege to provide breakfast and lunch to your children, supporting them with smart, healthy meals to power though the school day. We cannot wait to see them in the coming weeks. By participating in the School Meal Program, you not only ensure that your children receive nutritious meals, but you also support our program and our school community
